Sony's new product also reduces the resolution, but half the A7 ISO sensitivity increases due to the pixel size larger than before.

Sony today announced the Alpha A7S cameras, mirrorless cameras using full-frame sensor of 12 megapixels are optimally designed for both photography and filming. Sony's new camera models though not enough hardware to save 4K film formats, but can export content through an HDMI connection similar to the way the Handycam HDR-CX900 models. To get the 4K footage, users need to add a receiver and high-capacity memory.
This output supports standard 8-bit 4: 2: 2 4K at 30 frames per second. Also, unlike the A7 or A7R form, the new model is no longer bound by AVCHD which can be compatible with the system XAVC S with bitrate up to 50 Mb / sec. It also equipped with Dual Recording mode allows recording Record video and low bitrate HD and Full HD XAVCS.

The next notable point in A7S sensor resolution of 12.2 megapixels instead fell 24 megapixel or 36 megapixel on on A7R A7. This helps equip size on A7S pixels bigger and better reduces noise in theory. Sony said support ISO range from 100 to 102,400 and extends up between 50-409000, equivalent to sample premium DSLR Nikon's mirrorless camera D4S and is equipped with the best of today's market. This is why Sony product name with the suffix "S" stands for sensitivity (sensitivity). However, the sensor on A7S will only support contrast AF tradition.
Other features include Sony's video output optimized in editing stage, S-log2 gamma contrast range provides improved shadow detail, bright areas similar to the high-end camcorders FS store.
Sony said it is researching development 28-135mm F4 lens for filming Powerzoom specialist.
No information about the price of the product.
